my mom is pregnant too! she’s due sept 9th. my adivce is that she can go, if she hasn’t given birth yet, but you should go with her in case her water breaks and she goes into labor, there are plenty of hospitals in NY. i went with my mom to our country house about a year ago. she was actually overdue with a baby boy, but we went anyway because our home was being renovated. she ended up giving birth at our country house, with just me around her. the worst situation to be in at delivery time is with not many people around, far away from the city. a party in NY is the opposite of that lots of people and hospitals nearby if needed. good luck!
